West Coast of Ireland Photography Workshop – Spouse / Partner Site Seeing Tours*

October 1st – 10th, 2019

Why a Couples Tour?

Are you a photographer who enjoys going on vacations with your spouse or significant other?  Do you find your shooting time constrained because the other person is not interested in you talking so much time away during your joint vacation for photos!   Are you always finding your self in a hurry to get your shots and missing out on capturing moments when you leave that special spot to get back to your spouse/partner!

If so I have a solution for you where both parties are happy. I am offering a unique photo workshop on the West Coast of Beautiful Ireland where I will take out the photographers daily to scenic locations that I have already scouted. While we are out photographing to our hearts content my wife will be escorting your non photographer spouse or significant other on daily tours to Ireland’s treasured locations. At days end we will all meet back at the hotel to enjoy a lovely meal together and share each others daily stories.

This is a win-win for everyone as they get to do exactly what they came to Ireland for and not compromise each others agendas.

*This is a couples only workshop for the photographer and non photographer!

Workshop and Scenic Tours Destinations

The West Coast of Ireland boasts the countries most rugged coastlines and beautiful landscapes.  Stunning mountains, rivers, lakes and spectacular untamed coastlines on the Wild Atlantic Way. This is an ideal setting for both photography and site seeing just after the high tourist season and crowds.

Our tour leaves from Dublin with hotel pickup from 9:00 to 11:00 am on October 1st for our journey to Killarney with many scenic stops along the way.

We will spend five nights in Killarney at the Lake Hotel with unique daily excursions for both groups.

Destinations will include The Ring of Kerry, Bearra Peninsula, Port Magee, Valencia Island, Blarney Castle, Gougane Barra, Black Valley, Killarney National Forest, Ross Castle, Muckross Abbey and many more.

Our next stop will be to the Dingle Peninsula for a full day’s photo and scenic tour of all that the Dingle Pensinsula offers including the beautiful Slea head Drive, with a stop in Dingle for shopping and photographing the seaport village and a lunch at a local Irish Pub.

We will be spending the night at Dingles premier 4 star  Dingle Skellig Hotelbefore we head out on the next leg out to Galway.

Our last 3 day stop will be the  Salthill Hotel,  another 4 star hotel just outside the center of Galway along the coast with easy access to old town Galway and seaport district.

Daily excursions will include Westport in County Mayo, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, John Wayne Quiet Man Bridge and many many more.

On our last day we will transport you back to your Dublin hotels with arrival approximately 5:00 pm with many scenic stops along the way.

Why choose Visionary Photography Workshops.

Unlike every other photography workshop I will not be shooting along side you , I am there solely as your instructor and guide.  I have personally traveled to 25 countries for photography and photographed Ireland several times and will be able to bring you to locations off the beaten path that I have discovered over the years. I currently lead workshops all through the USA and my images have been exhibited in many galleries and private collections in the US and Europe.
