For this workshop we will begin on Sunday Oct 7th  at the hotel for a meet and greet followed by an evening shoot at a beautiful seascape location nearby.

We will photograph the picturesque Cape Cod Seashores on the bay and ocean sides, lighthouses, marshes and many small hidden harbors all along the Cape.

This time of the year on the Cape is absolutely beautiful without all of the normal summer traffic and crowds. Each days itinerary may vary according to the locations we visit and the weather we encounter. We have added a Sunset Dunes tour of the National Seashore along with a Final stop at Race Point Lighthouse.

A processing lesson will be held in the afternoons and we will cover the use of various photo editing software like Lightroom, Photoshop, Topaz Plugins and others. We will show you tips on how to get the most out of your images.

The goal of this like all of our workshops is to provide you with individual attention and to help you create images with more impact and help you develop and define your individual vision. Before the workshop begins we will interview you to determine your specific experience level and your visionary goals. A $500 deposit will hold your spot in the workshop!

Full payment is required 60 days prior to beginning of workshop!

In this workshop we will cover the following:

  • Exposure

  • Quality of Light

  • Visual design and composition

  • Use of filters and when

  • Metering Techniques

  • Choosing the right lens

  • Long Exposures in low light and with various ND filters

  • Pano shooting and stitching techniques with various lenses.

A tripod will be required for the long exposures and its highly recommended to have a wireless or independent wired shutter remote to eliminate camera shake.
