Mastering Light, Composition, and Vision

Joe Reardon is a fine art photographer based in New Hampshire whose work explores light, structure, and atmosphere. Trained at the United States Naval Schools of Photography and the New England School of Photography, he refined a disciplined approach to composition and fine art printing.

His work is exhibited at the Copley Society of Art and collected throughout the United States and Europe.

Teaching Philosophy

We just returned from an amazing photo workshop with Joe Reardon Photography in Croatia. Croatia is not the first place that comes to mind when thinking about photo locations for most Americans, but it should be high on your list. Medieval walled cities, beautiful Adriatic island scenery and fantastic waterfall landscapes. It is truly an amazing place. This was my first workshop with Joe Reardon. He does not carry his camera during his workshops which enables him to focus on his students to consider new techniques and stronger compositions, as well as assist with problems they have with a particular technique. Joe taught us how to use the manual settings on our cameras which was particularly necessary as we were photographing indoors in dim light without tripods.
Joe gave attention to each participant and assisted with our individual learning needs in a very kind and patient manner.
I was very pleased with Joe’s teaching approach as well as my final images.
